About the event

A meeting to talk about how trees can preserve species richness in urban environment. During the morning session the Professors Jonchère (Partnership Manager Maisons Du Monde Foundation), Bogliani (University of Pavia) and Doctor Canedoli (University of Milan-Bicocca), presented several aspects of the relationship between habitats and hosted species and the first results of our project "Habitat trees: Home for Biodiversity".

In the afternoon we visited the ancient trees in the Giardini Indro Montanelli in the heart of Milan, where the tree-climber Davide Corengia showed how to position camera traps to study tree-habitats.

The event was sponsored by Maisons du Monde Foundation.
